My personnel opinion is, stress from work plays a big role in contributing to our overall stress. For example: one can be already physically stress from dealing with the daily activities at home and have to deal with the office politics when at work. Employees are getting more stress from employers giving them more work or responsibilities from company’s layoffs due to the current economy. This is not fair for the employees and they have two options, one is to stay and hope to ride with the current economy situation until the economy gets better or the other option is to start looking for another job, unfortunately either way brings stress to the employees.
So! How can we reduce stress at work?
In this “5 Tips To Reduce Stress At Work video, I’ll show you how to reduce stress at work and most importantly we need to learn to leave work at work and not let it affect our family life.

Hi welcome to Stressed Out Stress Free my name is Vincent Woon. In this video Im going show you five ways to DeStress at work.
Number one, when you get a stressful assignment or a stressful project, the first thing you need to do is breath. When you breath in, it will help clear your mind and will give you a better focus.
Number two, the second way to help you DeStress is to take a break away from the computer. We spend a lot of time in front of the computer and we need to take our eyes away from the computer, just like those people who take a cigarette break you can take a computer break too.
Number three, is to drink a lot of water. When you drink a lot of water it helps to clear the mind and it will clean up your system so that you can think clearly and also its a good way to take a break because after drinking a lot of water you need to pee. That also help step number two to step away from the computer.
The fourth step is to use the stairs instead of taking the elevator. When you use the stairs it will help pump up your blood and when theres circulation it will bring oxygen your body, with the pumping of the heart it will help refresh your mind and youll be more focus and also a good way to loose some weight.
The five way is to instead of listening to fast music you can put on some soft music. Soft music will calm you down and itll help you focus more on your work instead of feeling stress.
Those are the five tips and let me recap:
First when you get a stressful project or a big assignment start breathing to calm you down.
Second is to take a break away from the computer
Third is to drink a lot of water to clear up your mind and system.
Fourth to take the stairs to pump your blood up so you could refresh yourself
Fifth is instead of listening to fast music which will up your heart beat and stress, listen to soft music and that will calm you down.

You are right! All management should look into this matter because they are killing their employees slowly with stress and it could mean worker comp… You need to focus or balance your home life … after ALL what good is all the money but couldn’t spend it with your family…BE WELL! 🙂
