Hi welcome to Stressed Out Stress Free my name is Vincent Woon. In this video I’m going to show you 7 Stress Free Tips for air travel
Stress Free tip #1 When you are booking your air ticket, make sure you are booking an earliest flight to your destination. For ex: When we go to LA I’ll book the earliest flight the 6AM flight so we can have breakfast in New York and have lunch in LA and have the rest of the day at the pool or at the beach.
Tip # 2 Seat selection. When you select our seat make sure you select seats that’s in front if you don’t want to wait to long after boarding the plane. I notice lately most airlines are trying to seat people from the back towards the front so if don’t to be in the plane too long before the plane fly, book the front seats.
Tip #3 In order to get your meal fast order the special or kosher meal that way you will get your food as soon as everything is settle down and when they start serving you will get your food first.
Tip #4 Pack what you need for the trip not what you want because most airlines are charging for the luggages and beware when you are packing for a family make sure that your bag or luggage is not over weight and they do charge a crazy amount for that too.
Tip #5 When traveling with kids make sure you have a DVD player or bring your laptop so that they can watch the movies and play games, that will keep them occupied through out the whole flight.
Tip #6 To make sure you drink a lot of water because up in the air your body tend to dehydrate more with the pressure and everything. So make sure you drink a lot of water, I usually have a glass of water plus a soda when the meal comes and I’ll have two more after the meal. It constantly keeps you hydrate and a chance to go to the bathroom and do a little stretch, instead of spending too much time at your seat.
Tip #7 and the last tip is be at the airport at 2-3 hours early before your flight why? Because of the new security system it takes more time for check in and also it enable you to have a little more free time than rushing to the airport and get stress. Besides you are already excited for your vacation and you can’t sleep anyways, so you might as well go to the airport early and be ready and when the flight is ready, you fly
