Hi welcome to Stressed Out Stress Free dot com my name is Vincent Woon. In this video I’m going to share with you about torn muscle.

What is a torn muscle? How do you tear muscle? There are many ways to   tear a muscle:

Like not warming up – I some time do not like to not warm up and like to go straight to the work out But a Big NO NO.  We need to warm up to loosen up the muscle to get the muscle ready. Number two you could be pushing yourself too much when you work out Number three your muscle is already fatigue and you over used it

So what do you do when you have torn muscle?

For the first 48 – 72 hours

You need to rest, Ice every 20 minutes per hour and wrap it with bandage to reduce the swelling and if you have Epsom salt, soak it in Epsom salt that will produce a better result make sure when you wrap the bandage do not too make it too tight if not it’s going to cut off the circulation.

After 72 hours what do you do? After 72 hours is where you need to, pending on the swollen or swell you need to rehab the muscle. You need to re-strengthen it and work on it make sure you do not go straight back to your work out or put or strenous pressure on it.

This is the Controversial Step

For me  I’ll will normally work on it almost directly almost right after it happens. Why because when working on it, I bring circulation to the area, which bring oxygen to the area and when there’s oxygen it helps to release the pain and oxygen promote healing.

It is important to make sure that the muscle is fully strengthened before you go back to your work out. if not you will re injured the same muscle again.

Thank you very much for watching I hope this helps. If you have any comment, please leave it in the comment box below and don’t forget to visit my blog at http://StressedOutStressFree.com My name is Vincent Woon and I see you in the next video.
